Hi! I’m Jenny. Nice to meet you.

Design is a first impression, a story to tell and the memory that sticks with you long after you’ve closed your browser. Great design combines color, imagery, typography and white space to evoke an emotion while gently guiding the user’s experience. For over fifteen years, I’ve honed my design skills in site, mobile, email, advertising, editorial and print mediums.

Society for Human Resource Management

Creative Director / Senior Digital Designer / Redesign Consultant Feb. 2015 - Dec. 2020

I began my tenure with SHRM as a contractor hired to redesign the website. SHRM liked me so much, they brought me on- board full-time as Director, Creative Services. I was in this role for over three years and managed a team of 12 print and digital designers. At the beginning of 2019, I took a voluntary demotion to Senior Digital Designer in order to work remotely most days each week. Though I no longer manage a large team, I am still actively collaborating with all of the designers, developers, marketers and product owners at SHRM. In my tenure with SHRM I have worked on a wide range of materials including a complete site redesign; marketing landing pages and microsites; eCRM campaigns; digital advertising; event design and marketing, editorial layouts for HR Magazine, HRPS journal and shrm.org; general print marketing; social media graphics.
